First Principles of Movement Collective at EXOS

Hosted nearly annually since 2002, this is a special three-day program at EXOS HQ in Phoenix, Arizona with the entire FPM faculty Katie, Donald, Ryan, Des, Craig, and highlighting special guest Q Willey!

A major theme of this event will be centered on the importance of musculoskeletal health for LONG-TERM OVERALL HEALTH and how we, as training and rehab providers, are front and center with an opportunity to change healthcare at large by making people fitter, stronger, and more resilient.

Another major theme of this 3-day event is all about applying FPM principles to all individuals you encounter in your training or rehab practice. Learn how:

  • Craig Liebenson and Desiree DiLorenzo from LA Sports and Spine apply these principles to older adults, people with acute flares, pre & post-op patients, and people with fear or hesitation around movement and exercise.
  • Katie Dabrowski of Old Bull Athletics in Miami and Ryan Chow of Reload in NYC apply these principles to weekend warriors, high performing executives, and general population looking to stay active and fit across the lifespan.
  • Donald Mull of Kinetic Impact in San Diego and Q Willey of Find Physio and Performance apply these principles for return to sport as well as across the performance continuum to high level, professional, and youth athletes.

Being confident helping complex cases and varying populations takes a ton of practice. This is your opportunity to learn directly from our playbook, in person, during this experience. Our goal is to show you how limitless client and patient care is when you focus on listening to the person’s story, learn about their current capacities and tolerances compared to what those capacities and tolerances are for their goal activities/sports/lifestyles, and address the gaps between the two. The freedom of escaping diagnosis-driven care is what it’s all about.

We've recorded the entire three-day program and organized it into 14 hours of watch-at-your-own-pace content including:

  • 9 Video Lectures (super-imposed into the respective powerpoint slides)
  • 6 Interactive Discussion / Q&As
  • 11 Breakout Workshops / Labs

Learning in-person is an experience that can never be replaced. However, for those who cannot join us live, this webinar version is the next best thing!

Take your time to fully immerse yourselves in these lecture presentations, study these breakout workshops, and practice some (or all) of the exercises from the group labs.

Watch, re-watch, and apply what you learn to your practice and training! We can't wait for you to dive into this and we hope you find it valuable!

Thank you,
